Intro to Aqua Oils // Beginner - Introductory // Tuesday

There is nothing quite like oil paint, but the toxins can get to be overpowering. Aqua oils provide an alternative to oil paint and look just like traditional oils. It's possible to work with them in several different ways: wash-like, gouache-like, and impasto. In this class students will focus on colors, practice technique, and explore the importance of value, color, and composition; everything you would learn in a traditional oil painting class. They are suitable to use in a home studio and are considered greener for the environment. Best of all they wash up with soap and water! See website for materials list.
