Chinese Drum – Grades 2-5

In this class, you will learn the basics of drumming, how to play different rhythms, and how to coordinate your hands and mind. You will learn the ancient art of Chinese drumming. Dr. Chan welcomes anyone interested in exploring the rhythmic pulse of Chinese drumming to join him on this exciting journey. The musical instruments were made possible by a grant from the Community Endowment of Lexington. PLEASE NOTE: If you are signing up for a Harrington class that starts at 1:15, you must also sign up for the Transition Block (KCTR) if your child will remain in the school for the time between dismissal and the start of class. *Please note your child’s home school in the order notes under Additional Information when checking out.
