Feast of The Seven Fishes *In-Person*
Join us for a traditional Italian Christmas Eve dinner and learn how to prepare dishes for the Feast of the Seven Fishes. The tradition of eating seafood on Christmas Eve began because of the Roman Catholic custom of abstaining from meat the day before certain holidays. In this hands-on class, we?ll prepare smoked trout pate, salad with poached lemon salmon, mussels cooked in wine, pasta puttanesca, and a seafood stew with at least three fishes. We?ll talk about how to prepare ingredients and make dishes ahead of time so that you can spend time enjoying the feast with no muss, no fuss. Instructor: Dagmar Smith
