FALL ADULTS: Contemporary Fusion

Course Description: Rediscover the joy of contemporary dance in this fusion class where diverse styles meet to create a new and exciting world of movement! This advanced beginner-level dance class blends elements of contemporary dance with various genres such as jazz, African, Latin, House and more. Beginning with a technical warm-up, this class builds on the foundational aspects of contemporary dance through choreography and improvisation. This high energy class is perfect for relatively new and returning dancers seeking to grow their technical and artistic skills.Please note: Please wear comfortable clothing in which to move. Bare feet, socks or half-sole dance shoes are recommended. Please remember to bring water for hydration.DROP-INS WELCOME! After the minimum enrollment is reached, this class allows students to drop-in on a class by class basis as space allows. Students should email their intention to drop-in on a particular date to education@theumbrellaarts.org. There will be a sign-in sheet at the class. Drop-in students can pay the class fee of $27 with cash, check, or leave their contact info to be contacted to pay by phone.
