Renewable Energy for a Sustainable Future *In-Person* *NEW*
This class will provide students with a foundational yet comprehensive understanding of key renewable energy technologies, including wind, solar, hydropower, geothermal, and bioenergy. We will explore how these technologies function, their economic and environmental benefits, and the barriers to their adoption in various parts of the world. Adopting a global perspective, the course will employ a variety of instructional methods, such as lectures, discussions, and interactive case studies. We will examine major energy challenges such as climate change and energy security. Through both global and local case studies, students will gain an appreciation and understanding of the complexity and urgency of the energy transition.
